We have reached over 1,000 Doors!

“I’m a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it”.

Thomas JeffersonThis quote from Thomas Jefferson has been a tagline on my personal and professional emails for a decade. It reminds me that hard work is key to achieving success in all areas of life. As an active community leader for over a decade, that hard work has come in the form of proactively engaging residents to understand their needs and working alongside them to meet their challenges. Our campaign for the State House of Representatives is no different. It’s the middle of summer and our team is working hard to make sure we connect with voters in the 36th District. In addition to hosting several meet and greets in the district, I have personally knocked on over 1,000 doors with our team helping to reach even more neighbors. We are thrilled with the positive response we have received from so many of our neighbors all across the district. Thank you to all of our volunteers and to the neighbors that offered us water and a few minutes of air conditioning during the extreme heat this past month.

It is important to me that we reach as many families as possible to hear from our residents about their needs from the State Legislature. My experience as Mayor of Milford, as a small business owner and advocate for several local non-profits has taught me that to truly serve the community, you need to be involved and committed.
