How Can I Connect You

Welcome Message from State Representative Bryan Shupe

Hello, Friends and Neighbors,

I’m Bryan Shupe, and I’m proud to be your State Representative. As someone who was born and raised right here in our district, I understand the values and hard work that make our community so special. I’m a small business owner, a Christian, a family man, and someone who has always believed in giving back through volunteering.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of representing our shared values in Dover, and I’ve made it my mission to defend the principles that matter most to you.

I stand firmly against government overreach. Whether it’s fighting against the takeover of our local hospitals (HB 350) or working to protect transparency through the Freedom of Information Act (HB 200), I’ll continue to push back against any attempt to infringe on our freedoms.

I’m also dedicated to holding developers accountable. That’s why I created HB 270, which requires developers to build paved roads, and I’ve helped neighbors access the Department of Justice when they’ve been wronged.

I believe strongly in improving childhood literacy. That’s why I’ve worked to create new literacy programs for Delaware libraries and early childhood nonprofits, while also mentoring local youth to help them succeed.

As a strong supporter of our first responders, I fought to save pensions for injured officers, created tuition programs for our brave firefighters, and made sure our men and women in uniform have the equipment they need to keep us safe.

Protecting our natural resources is also a top priority. I’ve helped create a clean water program and fought against unnecessary development near our watersheds.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but there’s more work to be done. And as always, I want you to know that I am fully accessible to you. If you ever have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at bryan.shupe@delaware.gov or give me a call on my personal cellphone at 302-542-9231.

I will always fight for our community and our values. Thank you for the honor of serving you, and together, we will continue to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future.

God bless you and our great district.

Sincerely,
Bryan Shupe
State Representative

Testimonials “He is brilliant, well-liked and has a vision that I think could take the state to the next level. I was very pleased that he came to me before filing so that I could make my announcement. It says a lot about his character that he would do something like that and I am behind him completely.” - Former Representative Harvey Kenton, 36th District Testimonials “I have commented and or tagged you under multiple posts in reference to some terrible intersections in the Milford and Lincoln area and have seen you take notice, comment a response AND actually have something done about the issues. I noticed the new signage installed on Benson Rd that was brought to your attention recently and was so excited! As a mother to a recent new driver I am so appreciative for you listening to the local residents concerns and acting on them to make our roads safer to travel. Thank you!” - Lindsey Ingram Stubbs Ellendale Testimonials "He always says ‘what do you need’,” Sauls said. “He is always wanting to help this community. He asks, ‘What are your thoughts, David?’ It’s not like he is trying to get something out of me, but that he wants to help. I am part of the NAACP in Milford. Kids coming out to events and Bryan speaks to them, takes photos with them. You don’t see that too often, but Bryan does that. I’m so happy he’s running. I hope people see that he will make a great Representative.” - David Sauls -Retired Veteran, Former NAACP President Testimonials “I have watched you accomplish so much for our wonderful little Milford and our State’s citizens in your role as Mayor and now as our Representative. I have rarely met anyone as dedicated to staying in touch with the needs of your constituents as you are, not afraid to tackle projects that have been attempted in the past and leaving no stone unturned until they are successful. Watching you continue to strive for a better life in so many areas for our Delawareans is something that is near and dear to my heart, having lived here my entire life. Even having the privilege of working with you helping our Women Veterans at the Home of the Brave in Milford this Fall was a lesson in how your networking and understanding the needs of all concerned make us one lucky constituency to have you as our Representative. We collected so many donations that there was plenty for them to share with other veteran organizations! Keep up the amazing work, Bryan. Our future is brighter with you in the lead!” - Teena Stout, Milford Testimonials “Bryan encompasses the character and humility that serves all the people of Delaware. He uses his platform to protect and improve our communities. Bryan has been faithful to apply and uphold the Constitution responsibly for the sake of the People. Bryan not only represents us well at the State Capital, you’re likely going to find him shoulder to shoulder in times of need. He genuinely serves, is supportive, and with the people when it matters most. I stand with Bryan… because Bryan stands with us!” - Phillip H. Ruiz, Milford
