1. Stands Against Government Overreach - Voted and advocated against government management of our local hospitals (HB 350) and fought against limiting Freedom of Information Act (HB 200).
2. Holds Developers Accountable - Shupe createdHB 270, which mandates paved roads from developers and helped neighbors access Department of Justice when abused.
3. Committed to Improving Childhood Literacy - Created literacy programs for Delaware libraries and early childhood nonprofits while mentoring local youth.
4. Protects Our First Responders - Saved pensions for injured officers, created tuition programs for firefighter, and funded equipment needs.
5. Protects our Natural Resources - Created clean water program and stood against development near watersheds.
