The Strength of the State of Delaware comes from the strength of our communities

Though it was a necessary precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19, businesses have been hit hard by the shut-down enacted by Governor Carney . While many big box stores were granted the ability to shift procedures and adjust their public faces to continue functioning, most small businesses were left in the dark. Shupe used his experience as a small business owner of Fur-Baby Pet Resort to lead an effort to help local small businesses open their doors. With the health and safety of the public at the forefront of the discussion, Representative Shupe and his team of volunteers provided Personal Protection Equipment Kits (masks, hand sanitizers, gloves, educational literature) to business owners and their staff. Additionally, Shupe provided online small business Zoom meetings (town hall style) to create community-driven solutions to assist with reopening challenges and plans to help meet the evolving post-COVID-19 economy.

State Representative Bryan Shupe has continued to offer leadership in the face of the daily disruption to our local lifestyles. From Re-Opening Kits to continuing to offer personal updates to communities across the 36th District.
