Shupe leads the State on Education Reform- Transparency, Safety, & Accountability.

1. HB 66 – Education Transparency, places data points including proficiency rates of all public schools on a single web page on DOE website. The bill passed the full House floor.
2. HB 167 – SRO & Constables bill, creates funding for the positions in each public school. The bill passed the House Education Committee and is awaiting appropriations.
3. HB 192 – Single-digit proficiency bill, requires schools with these rates to create a local improvement plan with annual reporting. The bill passed full House floor.
